Subject : The Emotional Power of Flowers

Use a photograph of a flower, or flowers, to express an emotion. Use colour, form and texture to create an image that transmits an emotion (e.g. happiness, joy, sadness, melancholy, etc). Your title can be the emotion in question.
Subject: Nature’s Window

A subject framed by nature. The subject can be anything as long as the frame is natural (not made by humans). The frame should be in harmony with the subject. Nature’s Window at Kalbarri is an example.
Subject: The Excited Abstract

Use any technique, or techniques, to remove some or all context from a subject so as to invoke a sense of excitement.. Techniques may include multiple exposure, long exposure, intentional camera movement, photomontage, macrophotography, natural distortion (through glass or water for example). Remember that all elements must be photographic in origin, including texture overlays, and captured by you
Subject: Isolation, loneliness or emptiness.
LARGE print (Single image subject only)
Create an image that sends an unequivocal message of isolation, loneliness or emptiness. Consider the careful use of colour (or tone, i.e. black and white) to enhance the emotional impact.

Create an image that tells a story about a selected urban environment. It can be an inner city, a town or a suburb. It may include people and/or animals.
