LARGE PRINT MONOCRHOME EXHIBITION : – Pattern, emphasising straight lines
Find a subject that features a pattern created predominantly by straight lines. Your source can be nature or man-made objects, but other people’s art is not permissible. Design your image so that the pattern keeps the viewer’s eyes inside the photograph.

Glenn Vickery Rally – Mandurah
Mandurah, less than an hour from Perth and set against a backdrop of magnificent beaches and an estuary (with lots of birds). There will be lots to photograph – I wonder what’s on the list of subjects this year!
Did you know ? Originally known as Mandjoogoordap, Mandurah means ‘meeting place of the heart’.
GENERAL EXHIBITION – Wildflowers.
Subject and open – Print and projected
Create an image using wildflowers, where colour and form play important roles in expressing beauty. Carefully select the colours (including the background) so that they complement or harmonise with each other. Consider using a shallow depth of field to produce a pleasing bokeh, and whether you need to focus stack the image to get the flower(s) in focus. Simplicity can be very successful.
