Guest Speaker PAUL IRVINE – PWI PHOTOGRAPHY
Paul Irvine is one of Perth’s best Macro Photographers. He is very generous in sharing his knowledge and passion with others. Check out his photos on his FB page! (PWI Photography).
He is perhaps best known for Peacock Spiders. The Maratus gemmifer (Latin for bearing gums) was published in the Peckhamia as a new species along with three other new species and a sub-species in WA. Paul Irvine found the spider about a few years ago. It was studied, described and published as a new species.
Paul will talk about setting up for macro, the equipment he uses (past and present) as well us showcasing some of the great work he has done. He may even divulge where to find those little peacock spiders !
